Bread Upma / Quick Breakfast Recipe / South Indian Bread Upma

 Bread Upma

10 Slice Bread ( Cut into Cubes )
Ingredients :
1 Tbsp Oil
2 Medium Onion Finely Chopped
1 Tomato
1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Salt to Taste
Pinch of Turmeric powder
1 1/2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 Tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 Cup Grated Coconut
1 Tsp Sugar
Coriander Leaves Finely Chopped

Method :

1) Heat a pan, add oil. Once oil is heated add onion, ginger garlic paste & saute until onion turns light brown & soft. Then add tomato, salt to taste & saute until tomato turns soft & gets mashed.
2) Once tomato turns soft add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder & saute until raw smell goes off from the masalas. Then add in grated coconut & saute until well combined.
3) Add Sugar, check salt & add salt if necessary.  Then mix until sugar dissolves.
4) Once done add in the bread peices & mix until the bread Peices & masalas gets well combined. Cover the pan  & Cook the bread upma  for 2-3 minutes.
5) Finely add chopped Coriander leaves & mix for 1 minute. Bread Upma is Ready. Turn off the flame.
